Wanting warm weather!!!

All I can say right now is that I'm tired of the snow and tired of the cold. Last week we had a teeny peek of spring and then this week we get dumped on by snow, wind and now cold. I've actually had a fairly good attitude about it so far this winter but today not so. I'm tired of having to break a new trail to the horses and chickens. Most of the time I've got to shovel out the doorway to get into the chickens coop. This last storm was up to the bottom of the gate so I had to dig that out to even get into the animals. The chickens are getting tired of being locked up and the last few weeks sneak out if the sun is shining. That means I have to go chase them back in before it gets dark because the snow has blocked there path to there door in the back. My garden seeds arrived a couple of weeks ago and I'm sick of looking at gardening magazines. I want to get out in the yard and not have to step in knee deep snow or freeze to do it. Doesnt help that I've got a touch of a stomach bug, which I am glad that I got my flu shot so its not so bad but I'm in a complaining mood. The weather is the perfect thing to complain about at the moment! Jayden was up most of the night and threwup around 4. Thank goodness that had been the only time but everytime he made a noise I was wide awake with the bowl waiting. So I'm sick and needing a major nap at the moment. Livvy, Chantea and Elayne all complained of there tummies hurting during the week so I think they had it but it wasnt bad because of the flu shot. Chantea had it first and I was scared that it was whatever she had in November. Didnt really want to go through that again! Elayne had it the next day but was better later in the day then Livvy left school early Friday.  Jeremy has been gone since Thursday afternoon to do some work in Denver. He is on his way home today but the roads are nasty and somes been closed. He will probably get home late tonight if he can get through. We usually try to do something fun when he's gone (mostly for me because I hate when he's gone). The movie theater switched movies and Justin Beiber is just not my thing so we decided to watch Megamind at home and make mini pizzas and popcorn. I've been catching up on all the things that need sewed. I really wish they'd make stuffed animals better! I need to tackle the bigger projects like some blankets and Livvy and Alexs pjs but I just can't talk myself into it. I got as far as cutting the pattern out for the pjs and the material ironed. That will be my goal for next week if everything works out.

Not much has really been going on the last month or so. The girls finished basketball and had fun. Livvy will be starting volleyball next month and so we will be busy every Saturday for the next ten weeks or so. Livvy got glasses the first part of February. She only has to use them if she's reading far away. The doctor told her she could wait and come back in a year but if she's going to need them might as well get them. Livvy has noticed it makes a difference at school since she sits in the back row. Chantea gets to register for kindergarten next week and is very excited. Its been hard for her to wait where she had a late birthday. I think she's ready for it. Jayden just turned 10 months and is crawling around getting into everything. He's got four top teeth and almost four on the bottom. I'm hoping I get a break for awhile because he doesnt sleep well while teething. I think thats about all thats been happening around here. I'm sure when the weather starts warming up and the snow melting we will get even busier but I'm looking forward to being busy outside.

December 2010

Alright I was attempting to do some changes on here but can't figure out how to do it so I'm giving up for the moment. I've decided to update from the most recent events and be caught up for atleast a week or two. Our Christmas was good. We were all spoiled like usual and the kids had fun. Jayden loved the wrapping paper and would rip it off his presents for a bit then get distracted and want to eat it. He also loved the lights on the tree. It would keep him entertained for awhile. I think the girls all got what they wanted. I think the biggest hit was pillow pets. Who would have thought? I got a new washer and dryer. I love it! I can do more laundry and use less water plus it sings to me when its done. It took me awhile to get used to that! I kept thinking it was one of the kids toys. It seemed like Christmas came and went too fast. We didnt do a lot of the things we normally do and it didnt feel as Christmassy as it normally does. For New Years we watched movies and everyone fell asleep but me and Livvy. We really know how to party thats for sure.

July 2010

For the 4th of July we went up to Island Park camping. The weather was cold and I stayed in the camper most of the time with Jayden so we didnt get many pictures. Pioneer weekend we went to the parade and rodeo. That Sunday we went and seen the Blue Angels in Idaho Falls. The weather was hot. It was neat but long. I had to put earplugs in Jaydens ears because some of the planes were too loud and scared him. After the air show we went to my grandparents and the kids got to pet a baby deer that my dad had found that got hurt. On the 29th Olivia turned 9. She had a little water party with some friends. We took her to Red Robin for dinner and had a pretty good birthday. Sorry the pictures are kinda out of order. The bottom two of Elayne and Jayden are from camping. The one of the sky is from the fire that was by the INL. The sky looked neat and I got a ton of good pictures. The one of Jayden is when we were at the air show. The others are of the girls petting the deer and Olivia's birthday.

June 2010

In June we blessed Jayden. His outfit was a little big on him but it worked out. Thats about all that happened in June.

May 2010

In May we were busy with baseball and school ending. The weather was terrible for baseball. Livvy started fast pitch this year and didnt do too bad. Alex was on knothole and did pretty good too. They both had fun and thats all that matters! School ended the Thursday of Memorial Weekend. We left that night for Oregon for the weekend. It was nice that the kids were done with school so they could recover from it. We went to the lighthouse and Jeremy took the kids up in it except for Elayne because she wasnt big enough. We stayed on the coast for one night and the kids got to play in the ocean until they got cold. They had fun catching crabs and getting wet. The guys all went out fishing and us girls did our own thing. The kids had some money so they got to buy a few things at the outlet stores. The weekend was too short for that long of a drive.

Jayden

Alright I am a very terrible blogger. I can't seem to find the time to keep this up to date. I will try to go back over the months I missed and atleast catch the important stuff or most of it anyways. The biggest thing that has happened in our lives is Jayden being born. He was born on April 23rd. He weighed 7.6 and was 19 inches. It was definatly different having one that small. We had to buy newborn clothes! The delivery went very well. The doctor was worried about my previous c-section causing problems so they had to moniter me to make sure there were no complications. They started me around 10 and I had him at 4:10. The girls were pretty excited to have him get here. They all help out and maul him. I'm afraid he's going to be one spoiled boy!

February

February was also a busy month. The girls basketball ended on the 13th. They had a fun time and learned alot. I was kinda glad it was over so we could have our Saturdays back plus no more chasing them to practices. I think in a way they were glad it is over too. They were getting worn out. For Valentines Day Jeremy got me some flowers and a rose for each of the girls. I'm glad he does that for them. They enjoy it. I guess I should go back to the first part of the month. On the 7th we decided to sluff church and take a drive to Alpine with Jeremy's parents to see the elk. We get a call from some friends telling us they are changing ward boundries and doing a whole new ward. Thats what we get for sluffing church! They had a stake meeting on the 13th and told everyone where the new boundries are. We got moved into the new ward which is called Twin Groves 2nd. Atleast we get to stay in the same church building. We got a lot of good people in our ward and so far its going well. Jeremy got put in as the Young Mens President. He wasnt too thrilled about it. I'm still having a hard time loosing my calling. I really enjoyed working with the Young Women. It was a lot of work but I actually enjoyed it. So far I havent recieved a calling and I kinda hope it stays that way for a few months until after this baby gets here. On the 19th was our 10th anniversary. We went to Logan and stayed a couple of nights. We went on a sled ride through some elk and that was fun. The elk werent as impressive as the ones in Alpine but it was still fun to get that close to them. The ride to the place was really pretty. We walked around the Logan temple both nights. It reminds me of a castle. We didnt do too much while we were there. It was kinda nice to relax and take it easy for once. Jeremy got me a beautiful ring. I thought I had a picture of it but must not have so I'll have to get one up later. I'm pretty darn lucky to have him in my life thats for sure! Guess I better do a baby update. I am getting tired of going to the doctor all the time. The baby is doing great. The internal membrane is almost gone. I got diagnoised with gestastional diabetes so thats been fun. The kids like watching me prick my finger. I didnt have to do too much changing to my diet. Just have to watch carbs and keep my blood sugar down which has been no problem. I actually lost a pound since I started. The doctor wants me to go in once a week now and possible twice a week. I will find out Thursday March 4th if that is the case. They are going to do another ultrasound to see if the membrane is gone which I'm hoping. Its never been a problem but I'd rather it be done with. =) So besides a ton of doctors appointments and sore fingers all is good. We are getting closer and I'm ready to get him here!
